Here comes AMD Big Navi!

Whew, it's been a big month for PC hardware releases!!  nVidia Ampere, AMD Ryzen 5000 series, 93 PC launched.....  and now we have Big Navi - the Radeon 6000 series graphics cards.

Wow - what a great launch.  nVidia must be very worried about the lack of Ampere cards out there now - these things look amazing.  Especially when paired with the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs and with the new 'Rage Mode' enabled which allows the new CPU and GPU to overclock together.

AMD and nVidia look to have gone different ways with their philosophies.  The AMD cards will be smaller and consume less power - which is obviously great - but still provide similar performance.  Where nVidia has opted for faster GDDR6x memory, AMD has opted for the slower GDDR6 but more of it.  The benchmark head-to-heads are going to be very interesting indeed.
